Motherland Keeps Looking For Its Exiled People

Circassians being one of the oppressed nations that were occupied by the Tsarist Russian forces that left them with no sovereign state, which was officially occupied by the Russian state in 21, May, 1864. That was the date that Circassia had fallenin the hands of the Russian colonial empire, and was fully concurred and controlled alongside with other North Caucasian nations.

A painful memory that Circassians celebrate with tears and pain, when they remember the millionswho perished, wounded, displaced, or had to immigrate by force to other countries of the world, for a basic reason which was the Russian ambitious plans of reaching the warm waters of the Black Sea, the greed of controlling the natural resources of the North Caucasus, and to establish strategic ports and imperial influence in the North Caucasus and beyond.

After the long time that elapsed, which did not indicate any Russian second thought of solving out the problems of the Circassians and North Caucasians, who had to be deported and to live in Diaspora, and no serious attempts by majority of Circassians and North Caucasians who are left with no homeland had been fulfilled, and in addition to that, they are still scattered around the world living as minorities with no full rights of ruling themselves or to decide their future plans as a nation or nations that are eligible for their legitimate rights which are guaranteed by the International Lawlike other nations of the world. The Circassians that are still living under the Russian government’s apartheid rule got their fate of living under colonialism, racism, and foreign occupation.

It is wise to start something and to get out of the restrictions that were considered redlines which should not be crossed or even approached! The logic states that to do any thing and being any individual, a group, or a nation, then it should be decided and known, what are the goalsthat are set in order to be implemented for attaining and  asserting the national dignity, and to practice the right of self-determination.

When the goal is set, then ways, means, and methods of starting the long way towards reaching the planned targets should be chosen, and all available elements that need to be taken into consideration for enhancing the demands should be calculated to be the positive navigation aids which will ensure the rights and the best track to be chosen.

Most important factor should be considered to be the moral part that should be connected with other elements, which contain, and not limited to the effects of those who spread and circulate frustration, fear, psychological obstacles, and gossips.

While some of those negative impact factors or elements are voluntarily distributed by people who preferred the self whipping method, beside the fact that they got different interests, and/or weak or ill-well to let or to allow people look for their national affairs, there are some others who are the most dangerous, and who spread the enemy’s rumors in all sides and directions to the extent that they try to question the integrity and legitimacy of those who are totally devoted for their the noble cause of reclaiming all rights that were confiscated and even stepped on by the same aggressors who occupied the land and slaughtered all those who used their natural right of defending their Motherland, while still implementing racial discrimination, and expanding  xenophobia and serving evil related intolerance.

Any occupied nation, being unrepresented nation, got priorities and one of those priorities is to take the risk of demanding the legitimate rightsfrom the colonialists and imperialists. Those devoted people with live consciousness don’t feel ashamed of taking the risk of being stabbed in the back and/or described by those who illegally occupied the sacred Motherland, and/or their defenders and agents who happened to be originated from the same oppressed nation, as working for foreign plans and/or implementing suspicious agendas!

Logic would require in this case to follow the scientific method of research which will make those who would rather find out the truth, to get to the conclusion that when a country or a region is occupied and colonized by a foreign state as per the case of the Russian occupation of Circassia and the North Caucasus, it would be the legitimate right of the occupied nation and/or nations to work for refusing and opposing the occupation and all it’s consequences of humiliation, with all the legal and legitimate means and tools to get out of the status of “endless exile and genocide”, and in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations, and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

It seems that it was not a coincidence that Circassians had called their homeland as Motherland, and in that regard, a devoted Circassian said (I hope that I can represent it the way that he said it), “Adigheno Yachalama Yathokhorur”, which means “Circassians’ Motherland Keeps Looking For Its Children (People)”, which symbolically meant the way that “the mother keeps looking after her children”.
