Financing of Chechen militants significantly reduced - Kremlin envoy

MOSCOW. Sept 6 (Interfax) - Financial flows from Islamic countries to Chechen militants have been significantly reduced of late, the Russian presidential representative for international cooperation in countering terrorism and transnational organized crime, Anatoly Safonov, said at a press conference at the Interfax main office Wednesday.

"Earlier, this assistance was worth millions of dollars, but now the matter involves thousands or, at best, tens of thousands," Safonov said.

The change is due to the fact that organizations in a number of Muslim countries, particularly Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Egypt and others, "have taken a more serious approach to charity issues, understanding all the danger of such uncontrolled assistance," he said.

Safonov called for tougher control measures in the banking sector to the financing of terrorists.

Another suspect in Moscow market blast detained, charged - prosecutor

MOSCOW. Sept 6 (Interfax) - A man has been detained for his suspected involvement in the August explosion at Moscow's Cherkizovsky market, a city prosecutor's office spokesman told Interfax.

The suspect has already been charged, he said.

"Twenty-five-year-old Muscovite Nikolai Korolyov has been charged with murdering two or more people, motivated by ethnic hatred using socially dangerous methods and with helping to organize the blast," the spokesman said.

CNN film crew detained In Nalchik

On Sunday, September 10th approximately at 10.30 in the morning in Nalchik employees of the law enforcement bodies detained a film crew of CNN TV-channel that on the eve interviewed the president of Kabardino-Balkaria Arsen Kanokov. Together with them they detained IА REGNUM chief-editor across the Northern Caucasus Fatima Tlisova whom CNN journalists had been going to interview. At present there is no phone connection with Tlisova. Any communiques about the reasons CNN journalists’ detention from the Kabardino-Balkarian law enforcement bodies were not received, too.

The president of Russia Vladimir Putin signed decrees "About celebrating the 450th anniversary of the voluntary association of Kabardino-Balkaria to the Russian state", "About celebrating the 450th anniversary of the voluntary association of Adygeya to the Russian state" and "About celebrating the 450th anniversary of the voluntary association of Karachaevo-Circassia to the Russian state". The Russian president press-service informed that on September 9th.

The mentioned events will take place in 2007. In that connection the organizing committees on preparation and carrying out the celebrations will be created and plans of the basic actions will be approved.

person like hers entity give you brave fill in your heart feel of struggle
..She is very important for us..I hope she will be ok..meanwhile she remind

disseapearing after went to FSB office in Nalchik for interrogating about

Meanwhile as you know Vladimir Vladimirovic Putin signed a degree about 450.
