NALCHIK, September 19 (Itar-Tass) - - Plenipotentiary of the Russian president in the Southern Federal District Dmintry Kozak is holding consultations with parliamentarians and representative of the public of Kabardino-Balkaria over the candidature of a new president of the republic.

Some 80 people, including parliamentarians, representatives of public unions and the clergy, gathered in the parliament hall.

President Valery Kokov of Kabardino-Balkarian on Friday sent in his early resignation in connection with serious worsening of health.

Not much can be said in praise of the UN world summit, which has ended with little more than a heavily spun restatement of its loftiest ambitions. It was clear in advance that issues as vital as the millennium development goals were not going to progress very far. It was a "disgrace", as Kofi Annan put it bluntly, that disarmament was too controversial to agree on, while reform of the security council was put off. But there was one real shift: recognition that the world body has a "responsibility to protect" - to ensure that genocide, ethnic cleansing and other war crimes should not be ignored in the name of state sovereignty.

Abkhazia, S.Ossetia support each other's independence efforts - Bagapsh

VLADIKAVKAZ. Sept 19 (Interfax) - Abkhazia and South Ossetia support each other's aspiration to independence, Abkhazian President Sergei Bagapsh told Interfax on Monday.

Bagapsh said he would come to Tskhinvali on Monday to attend events marking the 15th anniversary of South Ossetia's independence.

"Also on Monday we'll sign an agreement on cooperation between the two republics," Bagapsh said.

Asked if his plans might change in the wake of reports about an attack on Tskhinvali early on Monday, Bagapsh said, "Nothing will change. We'll only be quick to set out to Tskhinvali."

Living in the 21st century, should make people live, feel, sense, and behave that they appreciate the goodness of enjoying computer digital capabilities, space adventures, scientific achievements, electronic inventions, broad development, and Human Rights awareness.
Russia is considered the largest colonial power in the world of today. Tens of nations and regions are still occupied and colonized by the largest imperial power of our presence and it is time that those who rule the so-called federation in a totalitarian and/or dictatorial ways and means to be aware that peoples and nations are entitled for basic rights that start from self determination that are guaranteed by United Nations Human Rights Charter.
All those nations are eligible by nature, legitimate rights and historical deeds to choose the way that they choose to be ruled and governed. Freedom, Liberty, dignity and independence should not and can not be denied for ...
