Russia named as a colonizer country Publication time: 1 October 2008, 11:29 When Russia invaded Georgia last month it acted like a colonial power determined to slice up and take over parts of its neighbor, the Czech Republic's foreign minister said on Saturday.
"We have recently witnessed systematic provocations and finally military aggression of a powerful country, a permanent member of the Security Council, against its small neighbor with the aim to carve it up," Karel Schwarzenberg told the UN General Assembly.
"This action was designed to create two tiny entities totally dependent (on) its administrative, economic and military structures. Colonial powers used to act this way."
In the meantime, according to sociological research conducted by agency STEM, 42 percent of Czechs support Georgia in Russian-Georgian war. Only 19 percent of Czechs are on the side of Russia.
39 percent of respondents were unable to answer the question, whom do you support in Russian-Georgian war. Every second interviewed believe that the attack of Russia on Georgia wouldl have a negative impact on international security.
Meanwhile, the Abkhaz gang formations are conducting raids in the villages of the Gali district. Bagapsh's gangs plan to seize Georgian passports from Georgians and give Russian ones instead of them. It is planned to carry out this "measure" together with representatives of "Russian Ministry of Justice".
However, the puppet government promised local people to finance small businesses and take them after having received Russian passports. Prior to this, pensions are being offered for each family in Russian rubles at a rate equivalent to 60 Georgia LARI.
In this regard, local people expressed discontent and demand an immediate deployment of the European Union mission in the region.
Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II said:
"The salvation for Abkhazians is only possible within Georgia. If that would not happen, Abkhazia would be, but the Abkhazians would not".
Meanwhile, mafia like "Mayor of Moscow" Luzhkov arrived in Pitsunda, and then went to Sukhumi, where he met with Bagapsh.
Luzhkov has long been an "inside man" in Abkhazia. He had built up a cottage and dude ranch in Pitsunda. He also building "A House of Moscow" in the center of Sukhumi, in the former burial place of Georgians.
