Adygeya parliament called Russian president to initiate recognition process of Abkhazia’s, Pridnestrovie’s and Southern Ossetia’s independence 18.8.2008
Under initiative of a group of the deputies of the republican parliament there was assembled the 30th extraordinary session of the State Soviet-Khase of Adygeya Republic. The Adygeya president Aslan Tkhakushinov participated.
The agenda included the question of adoption of the Address to the President of Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
Before the beginning of the session Aslan Tkhakushinov said that he took the management of the republican headquarters on reception of the Southern Ossetian refugees as the prime-minister of Adygeya Republic Murat Kumpilov was off to Vladikavkaz. There was a conference of the representatives of the Commission on emergency situations in the SFD - presided by federal minister on emergency situations Sergey Shoigu - planned there.
At the session leaders of the political fractions and deputies of the State Soviet-Khase of Adygeya Republic acted with the offer to address to the Russian President with asking to initiate the recognition process of Abkhazia’s, Pridnestrovie’s and Southern Ossetia’s independence.
In the address they also expressed their deep concern in relation to escalation of the aggravation and invasion of Georgia to the territory of Republic of Southern Ossetia as well as their support of the firm steps of the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.
