Does Grandfather Frost ever visit Chechnya?
Caharkala/Agency Caucasus - It is interesting to see the Puppet Chechen administration prepare for the Christmas Day while Russia's President Vladimir Putin appears to disprove an accusation from the former First Lady of the United States Hillary Clinton who had once described him as soulless after he showed that he could be a true Christian believer when he joined an Orthodox Church ceremony at Christmas.

The female workers of the Caharkala municipality under the control of Ramzan Kadyrov swept the snow away from the streets ahead of the Christmas Day in spite of extremely cold weather, when the Russian people believe that Grantfather Frost arrives.

Putin was in a church ceremony on January 7 in Veliky Ustyug, north of Moscow , where he joined an Orthodox celebration of the Christmas Day at a temperature of -17 degrees centigrade. "This traditional Christian feast has been increasing the strength of belief, hope and love for ages. It makes millions join for old spiritual values, which have had a special role to play in 's history as well as culture," said Putin. Putin was shown around a park which had been built in central city to honor Grandfather Frost, the Russian version of Father Christmas, after he joined the church ceremony. Likewise, Dimitri Medvedev, the successor to Putin, celebrated the Christmas Day in the Moscow Cathedral of Christ the Saviour.

Putin likes to show off his religious side especially in his frequent meetings with Aleksei II, the Orthodox Patriarch, though he has a background in the KGB--an organization of the which is widely known for its oppression of religions. Putin became a subject of ridicule for Hillary Clinton when she emerged in her New Hampshire part of the election campaign critical of U.S. President George W. Bush for his foreign policies and accused him of taking Putin seriously because Putin was, according to Ms. Clinton, soulless since he had a KGB background. Hillary Clinton did not, surprisingly enough, win enough votes in the preliminary stage of presidential elections in Iowa. (Agency Caucasus)
