The imperial ambitions of Russia
Muslim Isaev, IA DAYMOHK, 07.01.06
Let us allow to the minute that Chechnya did not proclaim independence and did not restore its statehood. Let us gratify the rumor of Russian historians, and let us allow even that it voluntarily became part of Russia not 200 years, as Soviet propaganda loved to say about this, but 400 years back.
Now, since to the minute we agreed with the assertions of Kremlin office about the "age-long friendship of peoples", let us be presented the question, why for four hundred and the more years of these "friendly" relations it is possible to recount on the fingers the international marriages between the Russians and the Chechens, and is it possible to hold them by a number with each other by force? We are not any to each other, not any, perhaps that to pair of hundreds of mankurt. They are not any because it is heavy to Chechens to live with the people- robber, with the people, which conduct the large part of their life in the drunken carbon monoxide.
Chechens - nation, which leads its beginning from such ancient civilizations. They respect order and love cleanliness, and in the fact that better - Russian cottages or Chechen dwellings - Russian Soldotna were convinced during the "cleanings".
After each "cleaning" and robberies the houses were converted into the pigsties, and Chechens cleaned carpets from the blood and blevotiny, and they brought into order the remained utensils. So that it is better to be radiated on the national apartments, because to coexist with the Russians, whose poets declare not be friends with the mind, it will not come out, in any case, in the foreseeable future. Now let us approach a question from other side.
Let us preliminarily cross out all wars between two nation and let us allow to the minute that Russia is the most democratic country in the world, and let us accept the proposal of Russian experts about the need for the nearest time to prepare and to conduct in the territory of Chechnya "referendum" regarding its complete department or retention in the composition of Russia.
I.e., let us glance at the Russian- Chechen war from the side of Russia, accepting all reasons in defense of the principle of integrity and indivisibility of its territory, and let us imagine now that it was to be expected in such a case, when the simple majority of Chechens accepted the solution about separation from Russia.
But even then Russia would consider Chechnya in nearest fifty years not as state, but as its separated region and there could not be speech about any intergovernmental relations and mutually advantageous cooperation.
Because that the fact of prosperity of Chechnya as the independent and sovereign state would place the stability of the principle of the integrity of the Russian Empire for doubt.
Let us recall the words of the ideologist of aggression against Chechnya Shakhraia about the fact that independent de facto Chechnya becomes the economically developing region of the Caucasus and it is necessary to make it even with the rest. Furthermore, even if we assume that there was not solution of Chechnya about the restoration of its statehood, and if the solution about the retention of Chechnya in the composition of Russia would be accepted by the overwhelming majority, then present "measures for the restoration of law and order" would be continued and would acquire legitimacy.
Such "measures", in that case, would not already cause doubts because the basic work would be carried out by proMoscow Chechens, and presence in the territory of Chechnya of Russian troops would cease to bear occupational nature in the eyes of international community. I.e., that occurs today criminally, appeared completely lawfully. Thus, all assertions about the fact that the Chechens allegedly suffer because of their "separatism" appear, putting it mildly, unconvincing. Entirely another matter is the imperial ambitions of Russia.
