Krasnodar militiamen assisted at Nalchik inhabitant’s confinement 26.11.2005
Employees of the Krasnodar special militia troop (OMON) being with official journey in Nalchik had assisted a local inhabitant during her child birthing. About 3.a.m. a woman approached to militiamen stood on their post. "I’m giving birth right now", - she said. The senior ensign of militia Orest Skorikov called on his portable radio set an ambulance.
But "the process" has already started. The senior ensign of militia Vadim Koljadin had to wash hands with vodka: "I was looking how I should come to her. In my memory all the things passed by - what my wife told and what I saw on TV. I picked up the child by his armpits and pulled out".
Then with a part of pistol they tied up his umbilical cord and heated the toddler with breath – in the street there was about zero. The physicians, who arrived in 10 minutes after little Nadezhda had been born, told that confinement had been operated professionally.
In the maternity hospital the mother refused her child but right there and then they found reception parents for it. Employees of Krasnodar ОМОN under the order of the chief of the Municipal Department of Internal Affairs of Territory got material encouragement for worthy execution others’ duties in the supernumerary situation.
