Combat continue in the Caucasus. Today on the turn is the Autonomous Republic Of kabardino-Balkariya, tomorrow this again can be Daghestan or North Osetia, where is located Beslan and even after a year of bloody tragedy in the school horror did not decrease not a bit. The reason for these causing horror communications is the conflict in Chechnya, to which, it seems, will not be end and which increasingly more applies to adjacent republics. Russian government is not succeeded in neutralizing the leader of the Islamic wing of the Chechen rebels Shamil Basaev. Obviously, Basaev becomes only stronger. For this also bears responsibility the president Vladimir Putin. He obstinate insists on the repressions, and the security service in Chechen and adjacent with it republics disrupt the rights of man in a roughest manner. Thus, they only push fanatics in lines of Basaev, not only in Chechen Republic, but also in other Caucasian republics, where are Moslems. Putin even missed the possibility to cleave Chechen separatists. Chosen to the free elections in 1997, and after the arrival of Russian troops acted in the underground President of Chechen Republic Aslan Maskhadov was ready to conduct negotiations. Answer was the following: in March of this year Maskhadov was killed. The future of the Russian Caucasus appears hopeless.
