Already nobody rises the question about the extradition of Akhmed Zakaev
The question about the extradition of Akhmed Zakaev from Russia in the Great Britain is not risen by anybody and hardly ever will be risen in foreseeable prospect. The high-ranking diplomatic source in London has declared to " the Moscow News " on conditions of anonymity. Thus he made things clear in the agency RIA " news ", that in view of acts of terrorism in London the British side, probably, will reconsider its attitude to the question about the extradition of Zakaev.
In its dispatch agency RIA " News " referred to the application of the ambassador of the Russian Federation in London Jury Fedotov. " We mark, that after July acts of terrorism in London the situation begins to vary ", - has quoted agency Fedotov. Thus the ambassador has expressed hope, that " also the problem with Zakaev in due course will be solved, in view of applications of the British representatives ". He has made the similar announcement on Thursday in interview "Interfax".
" We have studied materials of a briefing of mister Fedotov for the Russian journalists on which this problem was risen, - the British representative has declared "MN". As he said, in London they agree with the Russian ambassador, that terrorists should not be divided into good and bad there where the question really refers the terrorists. " However concerning Zakaev ambassador Fedotov as the responsible person did not make any categorical announcements and could not make, - interlocutor "MN" has emphasized. - the Correspondent of the Russian agency, simply speaking, has created news itself ". In the year before last the British court gave up to the State Office of Public Prosecutor of the Russian Federation in reply to inquiry about extradition of Zakaev. Later he was given an aylum in the Great Britain. " The British government is unable and has no right to inspect the decision of court which, in turn, is not subject to fluctuations of a political conjuncture ", - interlocutor "MN" has noted.
As he said, clear and convincing proofs of participation of Zakaev to terrorism are necessary for the British justice. The Russian side has not given such arguments up to now - and in it is a root of a question.
One of these days representative of Scotland-Yard has warned inhabitants of the British capital about an opportunity of new acts of terrorism in the city. At the same time British interlocutor "MN" has warned against attempts somehow to coordinate further destiny of Akhmed Zakaev to the increased level of terrorist threat in London: " These are two completely different problems ".
