Aug 12 2005 2:25PM Attacks on Polish citizens in Moscow harm bilateral ties - embassy
MOSCOW. Aug 12 (Interfax) - A spokesman for the Polish Embassy in Russia said that any attack on Polish citizens in Russia puts a strain on bilateral relations.
"Warsaw believes, and it is reflected in the Polish president's statement, that the recent incidents may lead to an escalation of tensions and unfriendliness in Polish-Russian relations," the embassy's second secretary Witold Jurasz told Interfax on Friday.
"We hope that these attacks will not have a negative impact on [bilateral relations]. We are simply drawing your attention to today's realities," he said
