The Perpetuum Mobile of Devilish Authority- 2
And now, as always, the state plays with complexes of the people. People are against the authority, but they do nothing except for patriotic discussions: I have not heard anybody to go to be at war in the Chechen Republic as a volunteer just for an idea. On the contrary, all ideological mummies, patriots of the Kremlin declare together, that she would, certainly, hide her son. She would not let him to go to the war. How? What kind of patriotism is it? If parents are patriots, they should take their son to a military registration and enlistment office; write him down as a volunteer. But in practice Russian patriotism is due to lives of another's sons.
As always, illusion of their (that is the state's) rightness, illusion of "unity of authority and people" (for what a common enemy is necessary) is a balm on complexes of the people.
Simple and educated people need an illusion, as a psychological drug. Therefore the official lie is so obvious, and it is easily and willingly absorbed by people. People are manically obsessed with self-deception. People are psychological addicts.
And, as a real addict, people become aggressive and immoral to defend the drug. Nothing can stop them. They will lie unscrupulously, deny or justify any crimes of the authority. They will snatch with charges at heterodoxies.
An addict does not have morals. The need for a drug turns off any morals. How strange and wild it is to observe: normal, decent people instantly turn into abnormal, dishonorable, as if some switch works in their heads, when you only mention the "sacred" - the theme of authority, the state, and what it does.
So, there is no need to convince the Russian (Soviet) people of their right to enthrall other people. Our people are already unshakably convinced of this right, more truly, in the right of the state to do it. Russian people have allowed the license to the state to oppress, to destroy not only other people, but also themselves as a nation. Until the grief come to their houses, they, for some reason, believe, that the state supports them, that the authority will not do anything bad to them. As if it protects them from other "bad people".
Whether this empire will be over sometime? It would be desirable to believe. Ilya Milshtein has stated an idea that an empire reproduces itself, developing by a spiral, as well as everything else. Also it is necessary to wait, until this coil is over itself. Until the empire will get rid of itself. And according to Milshtein, very little depends on the war in the Chechen Republic .
But we shall not go far, if only to hope for laws of development. It is necessary to struggle against harm. To expose it. Or, at least, even not to justify, not to support. In fact, public opinion means though something even in a dictatorial country. Therefore propagation does its best. If even any 5 % of the population was objective, not deceitful, could see things such, as they really are, it would be much more difficult for the authority to apply arbitrariness. However people allow authority to rule them like this. Such people generate such an authority. On the contrary. It is a vicious circle. Like a hen and an egg. When will this vicious circle be broken off?
It would be desirable to trust, that our generation will see the wreck of the Empire of Evil.
