SLUPSK, Poland 03.04.2005 Slupsk´s city council honored with minute of silence the death of the President of Chechnya Aslan Maskhadov.
´´Putinite propaganda tries to show Aslan as a terrorist, but he was defending the independence of his nation,´´ says Miroslav Pajak (LPR party), the vice chairman of the Slupsk council.
This resolution was proposed by chairman of the council, Anna Bogucka Skowronska (former senator from UW).
Earlier, the Slupsk councillors together honored with minute of silence the victims of the Katyn crime and memory of 16 leaders of the Polish underground, deceitfully lured by NKVD for talks at the village near Warsaw, then arrested, transported and convicted in the show trial in Moscow, just after the end of WWII.
