Aslan Zhukov Assassinated


At 9 pm Cherkessk Local Time, the 14th of March, 2010, Aslan Zhukov, one of the most popular youth leaders among Circassian youths, and member of the Youth Khasa in Cherkessk was shot to death while in his car near his house. Aslan was among those who are active in their society, and he was very much involved in all the Circassian essential matters. He left behind a wife and three children. 


May Almighty God Bless and Rest His Soul in Peace.

Occupation sources in Kabardino-Balkaria: we have liquidated the secondary of Anzor Astemir

 

The so-called "security forces of Kabardino-Balkaria” claims the death of Valery Atizov, the secondary of Anzor Astemir (aka; Saifullah, who is appointed as Amir of the common Vilayet of Kabardey Malkar and Karachays, and Qadi (Judge) of the Caucasian Emirate.) 

Atizov (28) accused of numerous attacks and in the background of 2005 Nalchik events arrest warrant was issued against him. 

As "officials” report, on 8th of this month, in a special operation and after receiving information about the location of Atizov nearby a café in the city of Nalchik, police officers tried to arrest him, but he opened fire, injuring two cops and a passerby who had been caught in the fire, in response the security forces had killed him. 

The police claim that they found with Atizov an Austrian pistol, hand grenade and a fake police passport.

In Cherkessk (Karachay-Cherkessia) at the gate of his house in the cabin of his own car found shot dead an activist of the youth Circassian Adyghe Khase Aslan Zhukov. Here, in a letter to Natpress his friend Zamir Shukhov wrote about the tragedy:

"It is very difficult to write you this letter in view of the fact that Aslan Zhukov was my friend.

On the evening of March 14, 2010, at the gate of his house in Cherkessk was shot dead Aslan Zhukov - an activist of the youth Circassian Adyghe Khase. He was found in the cabin of his car.

Aslan Zhukov, always actively participated in all social activities, helped to organize Adyghe Djegu, and enjoyed high prestige among the young people. In 2009, with a group of Circassians, he conquered Mount Elbrus at expedition in honor of Kilar Hashirov.

Vienna, March 8 – The Circassians need the kind of ethnic lobby other groups have to set priorities, work with other nations when possible and put pressure on the Russian government when necessary not only to achieve their goals but also to allow the numerous Circassian public organizations to recover their influence rather than continue to fight among themselves.
That argument is advanced today by Osman Mazukabzov, the director general of KavkazWeb.net and Adyga.org, who says that the Circassians must take this step in order to combat "the lack of respect” that the Russian Olympic Committee and the Russian government more generally have shown their nation (www.natpress.net/stat.php?id=5109).
