Good morning, distinguish members of the European Parliament, fellow delegates, ladies and gentlemen. I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the opportunity to present the challenges that the Circassian Nation is facing.

In formulating strategies towards the survival and rehabilitation of the Circassian culture, it is crucial to be cognizant of the changes occurring among the parties involved in the Circassian issue, in particular the Circassian Diaspora, Circassian organizations and the policy of the Russian Federation.  The strategies and structures that may have seemed appropriate in the past may no longer be relevant or effective.  Changes among and between the principle actors in regards to the Circassian issue now require a mandate and a total reassessment of strategies applied by Circassian NGO’s.

DECLARATION OF SELF-DETERMINATION AND NATIONHOOD OF THE AUTONOMUS AUTOCHTHONOUS INDIGENOUS CIRCASSIAN PEOPLES:

A NATION IN EXILE

Dear brothers and sisters I am Prince Alan DjaMirzé.

I come here today to share with under this honourable domain a message of hope, a future and peace, an opportunity to start a new, to evolve, to take our rightful place amongst our brothers and sisters of the global community of first nations.

Since the endorsement of the UN declaration of indigenous peoples, Indigenous Nations have been gradually one by one using the declaration to declare their place within humanity, endorsing their support for the UN declaration, and using its mandate to build a roadmap to achieve self-determination, reconciliation, and peace with the respective states.

Georgian Minister Of Diaspora Affairs Met With Representatives Of The Circassian Diaspora In Turkey.

Cirkassia.net published that on November, 11, 2011, in the Sheraton hotel, Istanbul, the Minister of Diaspora Affairs of Georgia Mirza Davitaia met with representatives of the Circassian Diaspora in Turkey. Of the Circassian Diaspora who attended, the former Deputy of Turkish Parliament, Sheriff Birinsh from Bursa, Dr. Nusrat Bash, Industrialist Abdullah Teber, the spokesman for the movement "Circassian Rights Initiative” Murat Ozden and twenty other attendants.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Patriots of Cherkessia Huade Adnan, Semih Akgun, Eshref Bash, Cuba Nurhan, Fidan and Jan bash.

Minister of Diaspora Affairs of Georgia Mirza Davitaia, shared with the audience information about the Circassian genocide memorial, planned in Anaklia.
