Representatives Of The Syrian Circassians Arrived To Adygea To Discuss Repatriation

The representatives of the Syrian Circassians arrived in Adygea to meet with the republic's leadership to discuss repatriation.

Syrian Circassians arrived at Maikop to meet with the leadership of Adygea in connection with applications for repatriation of Circassians of Syria, according to reports received today by the SMS service of the "Caucasian Knot".

Information about the visit of Syrian Circassians confirmed a source close to government circles.  According to him, January 24, Adygea arrived two representatives of the Circassian people living in Syria, and 25 January will come one more. 

All three, according to the interlocutor, participated in the signing of the treatment of Syrian Circassians to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and the leadership of Adygea, Kabardino-Balkaria and Karachaevo-Cherkessia.

The purpose of the visit of Syrian Circassians in Adygea is to familiarize them with the country to deal with the move to their historical homeland. 

Today, the two arrived compatriots already acquainted with the natural attractions of Adygea and the lives of local people. They visited the mountains, visited the villages, including the village Mafehabl in Maikop district, where 13 years ago were settled 165 immigrants from Kosovo.
