Will the Parliament of Georgia Recognize the Genocide of Circassians?

1st Caucasus TV Channel, based in Tbilisi, Georgia, has reported that the highest legislative body of the State of Georgia will have a debate with the participation of scientists.
They will evaluate the mass deportation and the destruction of the Circassians by the Russian Empire in the second half of the 19th century.
The issue was addressed to the attention of the Parliament of Georgia by representatives of Circassian Diaspora.
In March, the Circassians participated in a scientific conference in the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi.
A comprehensive and detailed study for the history of the Circassian genocide will be followed by the Parliament's Friendship Group with the Peoples of the Caucasus.
