MOSCOW. June 9 (Interfax) - The Moscow prosecutor's office investigating the large-scale power outage in the Moscow area on May 24 has estimated the damages it inflicted at over 1.7 billion rubles.
"The preliminarily estimated damage is 1,708,373,000 rubles," the prosecutor's office said in a statement on Thursday.

MOSCOW, June 7 (Itar-Tass) - Cases of hepatitis A among the people, who drank beer produced by OAO Rzhevpivo distilleries have been registered in Moscow.
“A total of six cases of viral hepatitis A were registered in Moscow between May 2 and May 8,” the Russian Federal Service for Consumer Right Protection (Rospotrebnadzor) said in an official report Thursday.
All the six people were hospitalised, and two of them, a father and son, said they had made a trip to a place in the Tver region southwest off Moscow where they drank beer produced by Rzhezpivo, located in the same region.
Apart from beer, Rzhevpivo sells in Moscow the mineral water Rhzevskaya.

RZHEV. June 11 (Interfax) - Food is the likeliest source of an ongoing outbreak of hepatitis in Russia's Tver region, local Governor Dmitry Zelenin said on Saturday.
Zelenin told a news conference in Rzhev that the number of hepatitis cases has reached 461, including 117 children. The situation has stabilized and is now under control, he said.
"It is expected that for another few days, about 40 people will contract the disease daily, and then the number will start to decline," he said.
