Assassinated. The plan devised and carried out by the Russian authorities has succeeded: henceforth they shall only deal with Shamil Basaev, kept and protected by them from Budyennovsk through to Dagestan. Mr. Putin, the Soviet agent who spends his holidays in the company of Gerhard Schroeder and Silvio Berlusconi, now sits opposite one just like him. The massacre will continue and the terrorist attacks will be repeated. Aslan Maskhadov had just declared a unilateral ceasefire and stated he represented Western values and not those of radical Islam. Yet the one-month ceasefire had been respected by all rebel groups. Maskhadov had shown his strength. But not one leader suggested holding talks with the leader of the courageous and heroic. And this was the moment to kill him. To prevent the spirit of the permanent revolutions, something our friend ... >> full

Aprel, 2, 2005 “Hailing” here and there Now the army is allowed to combat with the terrorists. Generally speaking, it seems everything is all right – no one runs in the streets, as it was Kyrghyzia and Ukraine not long ago; however, the authorities are in a hurry, as if they less time to enact the laws justifying their activities. For example, last week the Council of Federation introduced alterations in the law “On Defence” allowing the army to take part in counterterrorist operations. It would have been strange if they had inserted amendments into the law “On Defence” allowing the army to take part, for example in surgical operations. The profession of the soldiers is to kill people, while the surgeons save them. The same can be said about the antiterrorist units. They have the same profession as the surgeons. They save people. If you force the army to be engaged in antiterrorist activity, you will have to scrub away the results of the work from the walls, as it was ... >> full

Items compiled from Tribune news services Published April 8, 2005
MOSCOW, RUSSIA -- More than 3,000 Chechen civilians have been killed in the war-ravaged southern region during the past five years, a Russian human-rights group said Thursday.
Dmitry Grushkin of the Memorial Human Rights Center reported that 1,543 residents were kidnapped over the same period, with 892 still missing, the Interfax news agency said.
Since January, 64 civilians have been kidnapped--29 are unaccounted for, 31 have been released and two were found dead, Grushkin told Interfax.
Authorities accuse human-rights groups of exaggerating the number of abductions. Chechen officials have reported 1,800 disappearances since 1999.

rom: MSN NicknameEagle_wng (Original Message) Sent: 4/8/2005 11:27 AM “He Was the First Pontific, Who Entered a Mosque with the Mission of Peace” Today the theme "Terrorism" is unknown, probably, only to an innocent child. What does this well-known term mean? The first thing, which is associated in consciousness of a normal person, is blood, death, and suffering. With growth of globalization and approach of the western way of life to the east, the value of this terrible word also extends. Simply “blood” is already not enough for some people, and they try to connect "Terror" with what is the basis of the democracy: freedom of thinking, sights and, at last, religion, and not without a success. Inherently, the struggle against "Terrorism" as it is imposed to the world community is the main tool for struggle against democracy. Societies, in particular western ones, begin to understand the fatal consequences of the aggressive adventures of their politicians; anti-war demonstrations have become more mass and frequent, the discontent of simple ... >> full
