The leader of the Polish Law and Justice party, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, has doubts about authenticity of the remains of his brother, Lech Kaczynski, who was killed in a plane crash of the presidential Tu-154 near Smolensk.
The former Prime Minister admitted that upon seeing a corpse in Smolensk for the first time he recognized it as belonging to his brother, Lech Kaczynski.
"But when I saw the body that was brought back in a coffin to Poland, that person did not look like my brother", Jaroslaw Kaczynski told reporters on 20 December. According to the politician, he was told it was his brother, Lech.
Jaroslaw Kaczynski never told why he kept quiet for 8 months and when is was lying, now or then.
The brother of the murdered head of state said he had yet to decide whether to seek an exhumation of the corpse of an unknown person.
It is to be recalled that according to a deciphering of the well-known amateur video by an Ukrainian journalist Andrey Menderey, filmed shortly after the terrorist attack by the FSB, Lech Kaczynski survived the terrorist attack and was later finished off by an FSB death squad.
It is to be recalled that in a recent interview to the Ukrainian news agency UNIAN, Jaroslaw Kaczynski said that he can with certainty assert that a terrorist act by Russian secret services was carried out against the Polish president's plane.
He also expressed surprise at the speed with which the Russians removed the dead bodies of murdered Poles from the site of the crash.
"Strange is how quickly the victims' bodies were removed from the crash site. Especially, taken in account the Russian sluggishness in other cases. When I got there late at night, there were only three bodies found, and my brother was among them. Autopsy, from which you can learn a lot, was carried out without the participation of Polish experts.
My brother, who had a cut-off hand and a leg, which belonged to another person. It was obvious, since the leg was in uniform and belonged to one of the generals, who, like my brother, was not tall.
It all looked very, very strange. As of today, I do not believe any reports, except those that are prepared by an international commission of experts", concluded Jaroslaw Kaczynski.
