The policy of Russia: First - a robbery, then - blackmail

The essence of Russian imperialism is rather many-sided. One of its displays is the policy of economic expansion and blackmail in relation to former colonies of Russia which is combined with the impudent open robbery of the oppressed peoples.

It is clearly visible on an example of Ukrainian-Russian attitudes in the field of energetics, which from the first days of declaration of independence of Ukraine are accompanied by economic blackmail.

Oil and gas which Russia subdued from the real owners of these resources, - native people of the occupied territories of empire, on whose ground their extraction is carried out, this became the powerful lever of influence on the Ukrainian authority that allows Russia to dictate the conditions, both in economic, and in political sphere.

However the developed situation has very few people known underlying reason. Actually Russia during decades extorted oil and gas from bowels of Ukraine, injuriously having exhausted stocks of these resources, and now Moscow blackmails the Ukrainian state.

If, accordingly to the witness of known scientist A.Taber ("Oil the past, the present, the future"), till 1917 the overwhelming majority of oil in Russian empire was extracted in territory of  Chechnya, namely in vicinities of Grozniy (now Jowhar) during approximately 20 years of existence of Soviet Union the significant part of oil and gas was extracted in territory of Ukraine, on Shebelynske deposit. These 20 years was to steal enough almost all stocks of oil from Ukrainian people and to put in pawn that the base of the future blackmail.

This example is rather instructive, therefore it is necessary to consider it more closely. The history of a question is those (is stated on materials of the book of the authoritative Ukrainian scientist-physicist, Vasyl Shenderovskiy «Нехай не гасне світ науки»):

Outstanding Ukrainian scientist Fedir Lysenko after the careful scientific analysis, in 1936 has started experimental drilling chinks in Romny as a result of which significant stocks of oil have been found out. It was the real sensation for the official Soviet science considered such impossible. The scientist has caused to the commissar of heavy industry Sergo Orjonikidze, to Moscow, and has set the task to carry out an industrial oil recovery. Lysenko has processed huge quantity of a statistical material, has put in pawn a chink, drilling has begun. However, there was an industrial failure which has detained works.

As a result of nervous failure and an exhaustion the scientist was ill with an anemia and has got in hospital. But even there, passing course of treatment, he processed to work with received results. Despite of the failure, the first chink has given 2 tons of oil, and it was necessary to examine and the analysis for forecasting the further work.

But on May, 22nd, 1937 employees of People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs have arrested the Ukrainian scientist directly on a hospital cot, and have incriminate to him participation in the "nationalist terrorist organization". Shortly F.Lysenko has been shot, also a mention of his name forbidden. And members of his family have undergone to reprisals.

All the Ukrainian scientists and institutes have been discharged of carrying out of the further works on a deposit opened by Lysenko. Instead of them there have arrived groups of workers from Moscow. Moreover, the Russian "scientist" somebody Kutsev, has appropriated results of ten years' work of F.Lysenko, for what has received the award. However, the found out archival materials eloquently testify to the one who in a reality possesses a merit of opening and the beginning of practical use of Shebelynske deposit.

Area of  the Shebelynske deposit was 250 square kilometers, full-scale commercial operation has begun in 1956. According to the Soviet encyclopaedic editions, the Ukrainian gas moved through the gas pipeline, first in the Union, to Moscow, Leningrad, Minsk, Riga, Kishinev and only in some cities of Ukraine. Today all gas of this deposit is settled. According to Vikipedia, it has been extorted 650000 million cubic meters of methane and 8320 thousand tons of a condensate.

The imperialistic essence of Russia does not vary today: impudently plundering riches of people occupied by it, Moscow simultaneously impudently blackmails already plundered peoples and the countries.
