A letter to the edition
One Russian nation actually does not exist. The mentality of the population is rather different depending on the standard of living and the place of residing. The Central Russian, Littoral, and Siberian mentalities differ from each other more, than from mentality of a native of the same district.
It is felt sharply enough in big collectives, in armies, for example, where Moscow Russians-soldiers, as a rule, are slighted by the ones from other districts.
There are intense attitudes between inhabitants of the rural regions and cities. Now it is practically possible to speak about class stratification of the country and an enough strong one. Rural regions are practically poor in comparison with the city ones, which, at least, have an opportunity of sale of their property, in case of sharp necessity for means. In rural districts houses are forsaken and population leaves for cities to live though somehow.
A huge quantity of the declassed element lives in cities, especially in large ones - there it is easier to get lost and to survive. Russia reminds today America of the 70th years of the XVIII century, but unlike the USA there is no wise management and a unifying idea in it, and people do not come to Russia , but as far as possible run to Europe and Asia .
Annually one million people leave Russia . Thus re-emigration of Russians from the countries of the former USSR is caused with counteraction, both from the authority, and from the population. These reasons are concealed in different factors and it is a theme for another analysis.
The condition of Russian society and the level of thinking of the authority are well seen by the condition of the army - the mirror of a society. Two actually lost wars for ten years, absolute absence passion, beaten out by its carriers in the colonizer wars since the XV up to XX centuries and especially during the civil war of the 1917-1924 - 15-17 million people, then after the years of revolutionary terror, according to different estimations from 25 up to 30 million people killed in Gulag, famine in whole Ukrainian provinces, surrounded by armies of the Red Army for “nobody to escape”, whom, by the way, nobody was going to count.
In the Second World War about 30 million people were lost. Not including the "small" wars, such as the Finnish one, in the Northern Korea, Egypt, Afghanistan - I shall not list them, I know that about 36 million people were lost, not including the wars in already new Russia - two Russo-Chechen ones, which have already taken according to the most optimistic calculations about 250-350 thousand of lives from the Chechen ethnos, which only in the XX century has gone through two genocides and the same Russians, whom again nobody counts. And if somebody does, does not inform on losses.
During the First World War, at the tsar, as it is known, the lists of the killed and wounded were published every day. Bolshevists' leaders and their continuers, sitting in all administrative structures and making the basis of the elite business of Russia , today do not count Russian muzhiks.
The kernel of the Russian nation can not be restored. The degradation is actually inevitable. There is a latent separatism in the peripheral regions, which are even the Russian-populated ones – the East-Prussian, Sakhalin , Far East , and the Ural regions, not mentioning national republics. The Moscow , which during Yeltsin's period began a policy of fuller powers of the regional authority, now has the policy of new centralization of authority and the control and it is fraught with acceleration of the end of existence of the last empire of Europe , which in the end of the XX century already passed the first stage of disintegration.
The attempts to find the way out in national-chauvinistic ideas will hardly be the way out, and it will lead to the further degradation, isolation, usurpation of authority, disorder, reduction of the territory, to which there are already applicants.
The "indicative" war of the Kremlin in the Chechen Republic , ostensibly for preservation from disorder of the Russian Federation , actually, has caused the counter reaction in other ethno social groups, which personally have seen the consequences of the imperial ambition of the Kremlin visionaries, unable to foresee and analyze the consequences of their actions. The attempt to improve their political rating in masses of marginals with the state patriotism gives temporary rise and pleases the national ambivalent ambitions of the Russian part of the population, the degeneration of which began to be shown after the lost first war in the Chechen Republic .
It is quite a natural question – what was not sufficient for the empire to win, having such a physical power? The answer is simple: the moral force. The passion. A soldier is at war well, having an idea. There are no ideas. The amorphy of the idea of the “one and indivisible” is obvious. Nobody, even Russians, needs such a huge monster, which should be protected with lives and the riches of which work not for those, who protect this country, but for those, who do not protect it, but just have a role of the wise leader – the grown up unreasonably, corrupted bureaucratic apparatus, power departments and a group of non-Russian nouveau riches.
Russia , having made a coil by the historical spiral, has come nearer to the years of the first Russian revolution in 1905. But if in 1917 Bolsheviks rescued the empire, having made a counter-revolutionary coup by means of blood and money of the Kaiser investigation, and having transformed it into the Empire of the World Evil, now this farce will not pass any more. There is nobody to rescue the empire, and nobody will give money for its rescue. And, consequently, the rotting proceeds.
