RZHEV. June 11 (Interfax) - Food is the likeliest source of an ongoing outbreak of hepatitis in Russia's Tver region, local Governor Dmitry Zelenin said on Saturday.
Zelenin told a news conference in Rzhev that the number of hepatitis cases has reached 461, including 117 children. The situation has stabilized and is now under control, he said.
"It is expected that for another few days, about 40 people will contract the disease daily, and then the number will start to decline," he said.
