Can Russia revenge?

Can Russia revenge?

In each war there are heroes, traitors and allies. Only the third part of what happened in the Chechen Republic for the last six years became sufficient to acknowledge actions of the Serbian army against Kosovo to be a crime against humanity and to make the political management of Serbia responsible.

In searches of allies, Chechen diplomats beat off their feet against thresholds of practically all international organizations, appealing to the conscience of their heads, however they met the last form of hypocrisy and frank treachery in relation to Chechens.

Moreover, the coordinated position of the leaders of many countries concerning the Chechen Republic, their investments into the economy of Russia show that they even did not take a neutral position - for six years they encouraged the murder of the Chechen people, and built their well-being on their blood.

Chechens gave them a lot of materials and documents with proofs sufficient for these "friends of Russia " not to have any argument for justification of their indifferent, and in many respects criminal attitude to the genocide of the Chechen people. The destiny of one oligarch, turned out to be more important for them, than the destinies of hundreds thousand Chechens!

All this time, leaders and businessmen of the West-European countries were busy with providing protection of their investments in fuel and energy sector of Russia , feeding its military potential. Owing to these financial injections, today Russia has felt prosperity of forces to revenge.

"The doubts in legitimacy of the authorities in the Soviet Baltic raise the question about legitimacy of declaration of their independence". We shall remind that exactly so the Department of the information and press of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation answered the statements of some European politicians concerning the occupation of the Baltic by the Soviet Union and necessity of condemnation of it from Russia .

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation has, as usually, shown political resourcefulness and has reminded of the national authorities in these countries, which operated during the Second World War. The Russian foreign policy department insists on that bringing the occupational units of the Red Army and connection of the Baltic States to the Soviet Union did not contradict to the norms of international law of that time because bringing of armies was carried out on a contractual basis and with the consent of the authorities, which then existed in these republics.

Accordingly, it considers any claims to be inappropriate, including the requirements about material indemnification for the taken place damage. Thus, using legal casuistic and, having shifted off the responsibility for occupation of Latvia , Lithuania and Estonia to the puppet authorities of these countries, Russia has called their independence into question.

Actually Russia, as a legal successor of the USSR, has declared, that the countries of Baltic legally remain in the structure of the Soviet Union (read Russia), and it is necessary to understand it so, that if tomorrow Russian tanks appear in streets of Riga, Vilnius and Tallinn, this intrusion will not be considered to be an occupation!

Putin does not conceal his aspirations at all, and publicly stated regret in occasion of the disintegration of the Soviet Union and named it to be the largest geopolitical accident of the century. In other words Putin has made a hint that this mistake can be corrected at any time, and, in many respects, such development of affairs is promoted by the policy of friends of Russia in Europe and the USA .

Intervention of Russia into the internal affairs of the former Soviet republics was considered by friends of Russia to be nothing more, than its desire to keep influence on these territories. Thus, the categorical non-interference of the international organizations into the "internal affairs" of Russia and impunity of crimes, committed in the Chechen Republic , provokes Putin to the next steps for returning of the "Russian lands".
