One should not give credence to the reports of Russian mass media

In the meantime, the photo of Putin wearing a Jewish skull-cap taken in Jerusalem appeared in the press, for example, the one that is attached to the given article. (The photograph is reprinted from “Vremya.ru”. The photo is on Yahoo, where there is one more photo).

The “ Polit.ru ” ( Полит . ру ), describing the New York film festival, mentions the film of the Swiss film director (team-work of Switzerland and Finland ) “Koka – A Pigeon from Chechnya ” as a “Russian film”.

This is a “contribution to film production of the Russian Federation ”, probably, with the participation of Kadyrov's gangsters starring as the “doves of peace”. “ Kavkaz-Center ” has already published material about this film, and I am not going to discuss it in detail.

Actually, the film, of course, is foreign and anti-Russian, as it tells about the brutality of Russian invaders in Chechnya . It should be also noted that at the film festivals, as distinct from film distribution, the title is given from the language of the original. In the given case, it is German. And in German the film is called not only “pigeon”, but “Koka – A White Pigeon from Chechnya ”.

Of course, it makes no difference to a Russian man, but this kind of things should, at least, put on their guard the foreign correspondents in Moscow , willingly referring to the Russian sources in their reports about Chechnya . And if the Russians write nonsense which can be easily exposed by any reader of the Western newspapers, the Western media should raise a question: isn't it possible that the Russian mass media spread the same nonsense concerning the events in Chechnya ?

Chechnya , in contrast to New York , is in informational blackout o the part of the Russian occupants. Therefore, it is difficult to expose the lie of the Russian media at once. Moreover, one should not give credence to any report of the invaders and their puppets in Chechnya , which is not confirmed by the Chechen side. They'd better not to publish anything instead of publishing lies.

The Russian mass media are known worldwide for their hack-work and rush for worthless local sensation not only in Chechnya . Last Thursday, for example, the “super-respectable” newspaper “ Kommersant ” became famous for spreading a canard concerning Putin's visit to Jerusalem . According to the report, Putin, ostensibly, was not allowed to the so-called Wailing Wall in Jerusalem , because he refused to put a Jewish skull-cap on. The false report did not get in the Western media. But it happened not because the credulous Western correspondents in Moscow have displayed watchfulness that is not characteristic to them. It happened because Putin's visit to Israel is not their theme. This is the theme of the Jerusalem correspondents of the Western media.

In the meantime, the canard was picked up by the Russian press, especially by that of the patriotic (FSB) orientation, but after a time, it was removed from everywhere, as if “nothing of the kind has ever been”, and “we don't know anything”. Through inadvertence, this false report is still on the sites of several Russian propagandistic editions in the foreign languages, designed for the foreign countries.

Meantime, the photos of Putin wearing a Jewish skull-cap have appeared in the press, for example, the one that is attached to the given article. (The photograph is reprinted from “Vremya.ru”. The photo is on Yahoo, where there is one more photo).

And if one of the most “respectable” editions in the Russian Federation ventures to publish a downright lie, what can be expected from the FSB propaganda media such as “Lenta” and “Utro” together with various “itar-tasses”, “interfaxes”, ria-novostei”, etc.
