This Sunday the known Adygeyan composer (the national artist of Russian Federation) Umar Tkhabisimov could be 90. In that connection with that anniversary in Adygeya on August, 16th there were planned the inter-regional festival “I Sing a Song to the Sun”, and the international children’s-youthful festival “Asterisk of Adygeya”, Radio of Adygeya informed.

In aul Koshehabl, the regional center, the evening-concert to which relatives of the composer, his associates - Rose Sheozheva, Cheslav Anzarokov, Murat Besidzhev, Chapay Murat and others were invited, takes place. The known composers of Kabardino-Balkaria and Karachaevo-Circassia are also invited to the evening-concert.

Let's note, Umar Tkhabisimov was born in aul Hodz of Koshekhablsky area. First of all, his name refers to as the author of the music to the hymn of Adygeya Republic. However he is loved by people owing to many songs - lyrical, wedding, comic, and so on.

First number of newspaper “Youth of Adygeya” is released in Maykop

In the evening on August, 7th in the Open Society "Polygraph-South" the first number of the newspaper “Youth of Adygeya” which founder is the republican Komsomol organization and the branch of the Youth Union of Lawyers of Russian Federation in republic) was printed. Circulation of the edition made 5 thousand copies. Aslan Shazzo is its editor-in-chief.

On the first page of the newspaper there is a parting word of the party leaders and the ideologists Valery Sorokolet and Evgenie Salov. In the newspaper there are also articles under such headings as “Zone of Economy”, "Political Prisoner", "Let’s Judge", "Corruption", “Public interaction”.

It is possible to consider as main the article of the number an interview of Aidamir Tkhagushev “Whence Corruption Roots”, published earlier on our web-site.

Vienna, August 6 – Despite Moscow’s unwillingness to include the Circassians in its compatriot repatriation program and to support the return to the North Caucasus of members of that five-million-strong diaspora in the Middle East, the Adygey Republic has unilaterally boosted the quota for Circassian repatriates this year from 50 – Moscow’s figure – to 1400.
It has done so, Adygey activist Aslan Shazzo told the Regnum news agency, “in the manner of [former Russian President Boris] Yeltsin” who once advised the non-Russian nationalities to “take as much [sovereignty] as you can swallow,” the republic government is doing the same thing with regard to repatriation (www.adygi.ru/index.php?newsid=211).

Gifts for repatriates’ children in Adygeya

The repatriates’ children of Adygeya, born in it this year, had been presented with gifts on the eve of the Day of Repatriate. The gift set included articles of prime necessity for toddlers. The gifts were bought by the State Soviet-Khasa of Adygeya4 Vyacheslav Sapiev, the vice-speaker of the parliament, participated in their delivery.


As the repatriate from Israel Aibek Achmiz told NatPress, his family was handed over with a gift by the chairman of the organization on repatriates assistance "HRA" Yahia Stash. “In our family, - the interlocutor said, - this year a girl was born. The same gift was also received by the family of my brother-in-law Khasan Yakhutl, the repatriate from Jordan”.


Let's note, in total for the whole period in the repatriates’ families of Adygeya there were born about 700 children.
