The Kurdish public organization of Adygeya "Agry" stated itself against a purchase by Turkey of helicopters in Russia and Italy. In the organization’s opinion, the purchased military techniques would be used for Kurds’ termination.
As it was stated on the Kurdish Turkish-speaking web-site Firat, with the protest statement the member of board of the organization "Agry" Fejzo Hussein acted. “It is clear, - he explained, - that the helicopters, Turkey is buying, will be used against Kurdish people”. And Russia, in his opinion, selling those military techniques, should consider the purpose it can be used on.
Both the selling countries, and the buying ones, he added, cannot ignore the fact that such actions, aimed against people, can be never forgotten.
Let's note, in Adygeya according to the present available information there are about 3, 5 thousand Kurds constantly residing.

The Office of Public Prosecutor of Adygeya Republic and Khostinsky area department of inner affairs of Sochi investigate the fact of infringement of the mode of the Caucasian reserve. In the morning on July, 5th its employees had detained in the state protected territory 12 persons without passes with two carbines. As they said in the Office of Public Prosecutor, in the case there are indications of the witnesses concerned that among the infringers of the special reserve mode there was the prime minister of Adygeya Republic Murat Kumpilov. If the fact of the finding in the territory of the reserve with fire-arms a criminal proceeding is instituted, the infringers can be threatened with till two years of imprisonment.

Circassians Fear Adygeya May Become The Next Nalchik
The 400-plus participants at the congress on June 27 in Maykop of the
Circassian public movement Adyghe Khase (Circassian Council) expressed
their shared concern at ongoing trends that they fear pose a threat.
Specifically, they fear that ongoing police reprisals against young
Muslims in towns close to the administrative border with Krasnodar Krai
could drive some of the victims to join the Islamic underground.

1857 Date Will Be Withdrawn From Maykop Charter 5.7.2009
From the charter of “Municipal formation Maykop town” the date of the town’s foundation - estimated since the time of foundation in that territory by the Russian imperial armies of a fortress - i.e. 1857 - will be withdrawn. The chairman of organization “Adyghe Khasa” of Adygeya Arambiy Hapay told about it on June, 2nd at the session of the executive committee of the organization.
“The compromise of the achieved arrangement consists of that, - he explained, - in the charter there will be neither the ancient date of the town’s foundation, nor the year of 1857”. As he added, that position was approved at the session of the town branch of the party “United Russia”. Now it is up to the deputies of the Council of People's Deputies of the town.
