"Khasa”’s statement in connection to searches in "Circassian Congress” office

On August, 18 2010 in the office of the public movement "Circassian Congress” of Adygeya as well as in the household of the deputy chairman of "Circassian Congress” Zaur Dzeukozhev employees of the ministry of inner affairs and the Management of the FSB on Adygeya Republic had held searches during which they withdrew some documents and computer system blocks.
In connection to that the public movement "Khasa” expresses its concern in relation to that in the process of resolution of the problem of the dispersed Circassian nation it was made a roll to the variant of the forceful pressure upon Circassian national movement on the eve of the forthcoming in 2014 the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi town.
The time of organization of the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi town coincides with the 150th anniversary of the violent deportation of Circassians from Caucasus. At the same time Red Glade (gorge K’ubyd’ae) – the place of carrying out of the Games – is symbolic, too. Precisely there on May, 21 of 1864 the Russian imperial army had a parade on occasion of the victory in Circassia.
The Circassian problem – repatriation of Circassian Diaspora and unity of Circassians in their native land – needs to be solved in the framework of the law. A pressure upon the Circassian public movement is not able to block down the Circassian question but just can aggravate the process of its civilized solving.
