Adygeya is going to answer creation of North-Caucasian federal district with protest actions

The expanded executive committee of “Adyghe Khasa” of Adygeya on January, 20th made a decision to organize the protest actions connected with the new territorial segregation of Adygs after creation of the North-Caucasian federal district (NCFD). In particular, they are a meeting and a congress of Adygeyan people. Thus in the session representatives some organizations and people of different fields of activity - about 70-80 persons - participated.
Writer Nurby Guchetl who acted first, told that in the present situation it would be necessary to achieve including of Adygeya Republic and Krasnodar region into the NCFD, as these regions are on the historical Circassian lands. However he simultaneously admitted, as the decision he offered was not the best one. Besides to achieve implementation of the offer, most likely, would be impossible. Nevertheless, as he considers, they should write about it to the president of Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev even to let the top management know about the existence of such opinion.
In due time “Adyghe Khasa” had stated its protest against the creation of the federal districts, he explained. The voice of the organization had not been heard then. Today the additional structure is created. But that decision is not new. Such idea had been earlier sounded and very few people from among Adygs liked it. It is not comprehensible now, too, as creates one more obstacle in the way of Adygs’ uniting.
At the session they also spoke that the decision about Northern Caucasus sins with its obvious inconsistency. The president of Russian Federation spoke about the necessity of forming new ministerial post. In reality they did a thing well-known already for a long time - another plenipotentiary structure. And the result of all of that, as always, should be the third, known, too, from the daily world – “beating out”.
The offer to go to the Adygeya president Aslan Tkhakushinov was also sounded – did he have consultations together with the other heads of the regions at creation of the new district? And if there were no such consultations, then why? In fact the destiny of the peoples was decided. Nobody answered positively that question - whether someone from among the present at the session knew that the president of Russian Federation would have made such decision. Questions were formulated in other ways, too: what such secret methods were for? And could any kind issues be done in such a way?
They also made the offer to return to the idea of convocation of the All-Adygeyan congress. The possible mechanism of implementation of that idea was discussed long. The attention to the question about expediency of invitation delegations of the Diaspora was also paid. They agreed that, first of all, the idea should be coordinated with the regional Khasas of Russia.
The member of the executive committee Aslanby Kuek offered to bring the question on the district in the agenda of the planned meeting of “Adyghe Khasa” of Adygeya. In the opinion of those who supported his offer, the protest action should be All-Adygeyan - through inviting representatives of KBR, KCR, the Black sea Shapsugs, Adygs from Armavir and Krasnodar.
At the session the sequence of implementation of the planned (above-mentioned and some others) actions was also discussed. The list was adopted by voting of the present (not only members of the executive committee). There were no refrained or voted contra.
