Meteorite fell in Adygheisk

In one of the kitchen gardens of Adygheisk (near Chetuk) a meteorite fell. At falling it formed a small hole, grass around it was burned down. It was found out by the mistress of the land site when she had arrived there for vegetables.

As TV "Kuban" informed, the meteorite appeared to be about 1 kg. For researches a small piece - and with great efforts – was broken away: it has a high-strength structure, like a diamond.

Krasnodar experts believe that the meteorite is more senior than our solar system. However, the beaten off piece is sent for the further studying to Moscow.

The name of the owner of the meteorite in the reporting was mentioned, but, probably, strongly deformed, therefore we can not dare to repeat it. But, as it was noted in the reporting, she is its lawful owner as it becomes the property of the one who had found it.

As comments to it in the reporting they told that one of such finds been found out in the USA, was sold for 1 million dollars.

A fire of a space origin on a bed with carrots. On the kitchen garden in the gardening company “Caucasus”, near Adygheisk, a meteorite fell.

Owners of the land site, Timur and Evgenie, tell that they had arrived to pick at random carrots to cook a borshch, and found themselves on ashes. In a heap of ashes, in a small deepening a black stone laid. Timur Tashu called on a visit astronomers. Those made a conclusion: the cobble-stone looked like an asteroid. It shines in the sun as a metal, and a piece for researches was broken away after ten attempts. The weight of the space find was nearby 800 grams. Scientists named the meteorite Chetuk, as Adygheisk inhabitants nicknamed the newcomer - Borshch. Local astronomers plan to send the find for studying to the Russian Academy of sciences.
