The prime minister of Adygeya Murat Kumpilov, the head of Adygeya president administration of and Cabinet Alexander Pitsenko, the minister of culture of Adygeya Gaziy Chemso and the chairman of Committee of Adygeya on nationalities, connections with compatriots and mass media Vyacheslav Zhachemuk took part in the meeting.

“We, as representatives of the executive bodies of the republican government, are interested in that activities of “Adyghe Khasa” of Adygeya Republic keep the consolidating positive elements in the interethnic dialogue, - Aslan Tkhakushinov emphasized. - At the same time, the dialogue of the authority with the social movements in the republic should be constructive, deprived of any groundless criticism”.

During the meeting the questions of preservation and development of Adygeyan language and culture were discussed. The special attention was paid to necessity of more careful control over publication of the educational and scientific literature, called to not allow distortion of the history of Adygeya. Also the question of ending of the started construction of the monument to the victims of the Caucasian war was mentioned.

Recently the leadership of the social movement “Adyghe Khasa” of Adygeya Republic suggests expanding the frameworks of the ideological understanding of this monument. They plan to make it an original obelisk to Adygeyan nation (the conditional name of the monument - “To Memory and Unity”), reflecting both tragical, and heroic pages of Adygeya history, symbolizing creative tendencies in development of Adygeyan people. Aslan Tkhakushinov assured the participants of the meeting that they would use the best efforts for the prompt erection of the monument. Supervision over the project’s implementation would be after the Ministry of culture of Adygeya Republic”.
