Reports of the Georgian “Rustavi 2” TV-cannel that Abkhaz security officer Givi Tsulaya died after an explosion of his car on November 27, are not true. As a IA REGNUM correspondent in Sukhumi reports, Tsulaya, who, according to some reports, has a title of Hero of Abkhazia, has undergone a surgery, and his life is not in danger now.
Abkhaz law enforcement officials treat the incident as a terror act. The explosion of Tsulaya’s car is a result of the Georgian diversionary groups’ activities, they believe in Sukhumi. A criminal case was started on the incident. The Abkhaz prosecution carries out the investigation.
