From: MSN NicknameEagle_wng (Original Message) Sent: 12/30/2007 7:31 AM Abkhazia's University to provide public Abkhazian courses Sukhum/Agency Caucasus - The State University of Abkhazia will language courses in the Abkhazian language in the wake of parliamentary approval for a law proposal to expand as well as develop the Abkhazian language as the official language of Abkhazia.
The registration process began for enrollment as a student of the Abkhazian language at the university. One group of students will take elementary level language courses, while one other group will enroll in higher level courses where they can improve their grammar.
Professors of the Abkhazian language and literature will teach the courses for free.
There are currently 8 elementary level, and 15 higher level students registered. ÖZ/FT
