Today, on February 27th, approximately at 3.00 p.m. in settlement Ganahleba of Gali area of Abkhazia three unknown persons kidnapped 14-years old schoolgirl Salome Milorava when she was coming back home from the school in village Bargebi. The Minister of Internal Affairs Otar Hetsia informed that “Caucasian unit” correspondent. As he said, kidnappers were on a green "Volga" car. During their attempt to cross Ingur River in village Nabakevi of Gali area the girl’s relatives overtook them.
Criminals, having thrown the car with the schoolgirl, disappeared in adjacent village Hurcha of Zugdidi area of Georgia. Salome Milorava had not suffered.
"The organized operatively-search measures of employees from Gali area militia department found out identity of one of the kidnappers whose surname in interests of investigation is not disclosed", - the minister of inner affairs of Abkhazia told. Thus he assured that in the nearest future the criminal would be detained and prosecuted. The law enforcement bodies while do not know, with what purpose the girl was abducted. In Otar Hetsia’s opinion, the incident was directed on destabilization of the situation in frontier Gali area of Abkhazia.
