A diversion group of Mujahideen under the command of Amir Tahir from the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria's Armed Forces attacked on Saturday (Sept. 9) a base of munafiq (apostate) troops belonging to the terrorist gang of "interior ministry's district department" in village Shelkovskaya, a spokesman of the CRI AF Northern Front said to the Kavkaz Center news agency.
The Mujahideen used automatic weapons and subbarrel grenade launchers for their massive attack. The Russian kafirs (infidels) and local munafiqs suffered casualties but the Mujahideen have no details. The munafiqs kept a mum about their losses.
After completing their combat task, the Mujahideen withdrew to their operative base without having sufferred any casualties.
As reported by Russian media, a group of Mijahideen attacked with automatic weapons on Friday (September 8) a gang of terrorists from the Russian defense ministry in a forest range near village Eshilkhotoi of Vedeno district. The gang was . carrying out some "intelligence-and-search operations". Within their typical framework of information blockade of Chechnya, the Russians reported only one their terrorist wounded.
At the same time, they claimed purportedly killing one Mujahid in the clash, saying that a sniper's rifle had been found near him. Using contradictory facts in one message, the Russians made it absolutely impossible to understand whether their gang was attacked with automatic weapons or with sniper' rifles.

Starting from Sunday morning (Sept. 10), Russian artillery intensively pounded from heavy gun mounts foothills to the south of the district center of Shali. On September 9, a furious firefight took place in the area between Vedeno and Shali districts in which the Russians suffered heavy losses. No details on the firefight and casualties were available till the filing of this report.
