Attacks in Chechnya

A bomb detonated five kilometres away from Gekhi-Chu, Urus-Martan district, wounding a military man, Junior Sergeant Alexander Mukovnikov, on 27 August, a source with Chechnya's law enforcement agencies told ITAR-TASS earlier today.

A group of unidentified persons fired automatic weapons at a Ural vehicle with officers of law enforcement agencies near the Minutka Square in Grozny's Oktiabrskii district. Two police officers were wounded in the attack, the unit on duty of the republican Internal Affairs Ministry told Caucasian Knot earlier today.

Special operation of Mujahideen in Jokhar

Amir of Ibadullah Jamaat Sayful-Islam reported to DAYMOHK agency about a special operation on elimination of the most odious national-traitors that was conducted in capital Jokhar. According to report, on Monday, about 9 o'clock in the morning, the fighters of special battalion Ibadullah from the structure of brigade of Shaheeds “Riyadus-Salihiin” have carried out an attack on so-called “a complex of government buildings” of national-traitors in the capital Jokhar.

17 killed, wounded in Chechnya – AFP

Six Russian invaders were killed and six wounded in a 24 hour period of last Sunday to Monday in Chechnya, an AFP source inside the pro-Moscow puppet administration reported.

During 17 attacks on Russian positions five invaders were killed and five others were wounded.

A sixth soldier was killed in a landmine explosion near the southern town of Shatoi, and a sixth was wounded near Komsomolskoye, south of the capital Jokhar, while taking part in a demining operation.

Additionally, three Chechen so-called “police officers” from Kadyrov gang were wounded in the western town of Achkhoi-Martan during a skirmish with Mujahideen.

Two other traitors were wounded at Gekhi, near Urus-Martan, when Mujahideen attacked during a search operation in the village, Oman newspaper reported referring to AFP agency.

The spokesman of Military Council of State Defense Council Majlis al-Shura reported to Kavkaz Center information agency about new combat operations in Chechnya, which have happened in past days. According to source, Mujahideen 60 times attacked the positions of Russians and their road blocks in this time period.

In capital Jokhar Chechen fighters have conducted a series of special operations and sabotage actions during which five enemy soldiers were killed and three others were wounded. One traitor from Kadyrov gang was eliminated in capital’s Staropromyslovsk district on Sunday.

Mujahideen have entered into combat with invaders in Vedeno district on last Saturday. In one and a half kilometers from village Shamil-Hutor, the Chechen fighters have destroyed four and have wounded five invaders during the fierce firefight. In the fight one Mujahid became Shaheed.

VLADIKAVKAZ (Russia) Sept 2: Four Russian soldiers were killed in the latest fighting in Chechnya, a government said on Friday. The four were killed, and one other soldier was injured, in the course of eight separate attacks on Russian military positions over a 24-hour period, the official said.

Two more soldiers were injured in fighting in the Shali district southeast of the Chechen capital, Grozny, the official said. One insurgent was killed in the fighting. Three local police officers were injured in other clashes, the official added.—AFP
