Chechen sources report, that yesterday at least 15 Russian soldiers were killed in Chechen attacks in the Vedeno-District, which is only called "Zone of Death" by the Russian occupants, due to their high losses there. Furthermore the Chechen command declared, that the mountain woods in Vedeno are under complete Chechen control, furthermore the Chechen freedom Fighters have set up many checkpoints in this district, where they check the traffic.

Alkavkaz reports about fierce fighting between Russian troops and foreign fighters under Commander Yasir from Sudan near Serzen-Yurt in the Schali-District. A large group of foreign fighters under the personal command of Yasir ambushed an even larger patrol of Russian special forces. After one hour of heavy fighting five Russian soldiers were killed. Russian occupants called in combat helicopters for support, as a result of the chopper-rockets three foreign fighters suffered insignificant injuries.

Dzhamalkhanov's militants searched in Chechnya
