Occupational rack is in a panic

As it became known, gangs of the occupational grouping in the Chechen Republic are in a condition close to panic. In Djohar they have strengthened posts. At all main crossroads strengthened groups of armed gangsters are put.

“Continuous examination” of all moving motor transport is carried out, documents of passengers are checked. Also on all roads leading to Djohar invaders also put barriers. Gangsters check all transport driving to the city.

A picket against the war in the Chechen Republic in Saint Petersburg

On Sunday, in Saint Petersburg the city Anti-war committee will carry out a picket against the war in the Chechen Republic . According to "The Caucasian unit", the action will take place from 14 o'clock till 16 o'clock at the corner of the Neva prospectus and the Malaya Konyushennaya Street .

This meeting and also the similar action on the 14 th of August are authorized by the administration of the Central region of Petersburg . More killed in Chechen clashes

Five fighters, two Chechen police officers and a Russian soldier have been killed in the last 24 hours in <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Chechnya</st1:place></st1:country-region>, an official from the pro-Moscow government said.

Russian army checkpoints were targeted

A Russian soldier was killed and another injured by shots fired at a number of Russian army checkpoints that had been the targets of at least 10 separate attacks in a 24 hour period, the administrator said on condition of anonymity.

In a separate incident, one Chechen police officer was killed and four others wounded in fighting southwest of <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Grozny</st1:City></st1:place>.

Two fighters also died in the confrontation.

Two other suspected separatists were killed in the region of Vedeno, the Moscow-backed authority said.
