Chechnya: Fierce fighting in provincial district

Publication time: Today at 14:06 Emirate time

A major clash has taken place in the Vedeno district of the Province of Nokhchicho (aka Chechnya/Ichkeria) of the Caucasus Emirate.

According to Russian aggressors, a Kadyrovite minion was killed and at least 7 others were seriously wounded during the battle, which occurred on July 13 near the village of Kharachoi. No information is available on the casualties among the Mujahideen.

The Russian invaders also reported that the mobile squad of Mujahideen had broke out from the battle zone. Additional forces of invaders and minions were sent to the clash site.

Meanwhile, local residents report that Russian helicopters circled over the woodland south of the village of Kharachoi on Thursday morning and periodically delivered rockets strikes on the territory.

Shell blasts, apparently, from mortar and artillery, were also heard.

Local sources report that a convoy of invaders and minions has moved from the district capital of Vedeno. The convoy consisted of infantry combat vehicles and armored personnel carriers. Checkpoints were set on the outskirts of the village of Kharachoi.

Others checkpoints were set on the southern outskirts of the district center of Vedeno.

Local residents report that the number of victims among the minions in yesterday's battle could be higher. Some wounded minions were taken to a rural hospital in Vedeno and to the town hospital in Shali. Seriously injured minions were delivered to the capital Jokhar. The corpses were transported to the base of the minions in Vedeno.

It is to be recalled that a sharp increase in the number of young people going to the mountains has been observed in recent years in Chechnya.

So recently the sources from the Chechnya reported that, at least 5 villagers of Russian stooge's hometown Khosi-Yurt (according to other sources 7), among whom are relatives of Kadyrov, fled for the mountains to the Mujahideen.

The names of 4 of them are known. They are: Salambek Kadyrov, Tamerlan Kadyrov, Sultan Khizriyev and a young man named Alimbek (surname is not exactly known).

Sources report that they went by a car allegedly for business in Gudermes, but the next day, their car was found on the outskirts of the forest south of Khosi-Yurt.

It was also reported that after the escape, they told their relatives and friends that have gone to the Mujahideen. Three of those who fled for the mountains are from Kadyrov's security forces and two civilians.

Kadyrov seriously alarmed by the incident demanded to strengthen security of Khosi-Yurt, change the deployment plan of listening posts and outposts and etc., fearing new attacks from the Mujahideen.

Sources of Chechnya have also reported that a detachment of 10 puppets from the gang of "Yug (South)" was lost during the operations against the Mujahideen in the Vedeno district of Province of Nokhchicho.

The commander of the gang of "Yug (South)" called the missing on the radio for several hours, but no one answered. Only the next day, the "missing" unit contacted by cell phone with their former commander and members of the gang and reported that they went out for Jihad and have joined the Mujahideen together with their arms and ammunition.

Other details are not known.

It is to be recalled that earlier the sources in Chechnya reported that 120 people left for the woods only from three districts of Chechnya. According to other reports over 100 people left for the mountains over the past three weeks only from one Kurchaloi district.

In response, the minions again started burning houses of relatives of young people, went out for Jihad.

So, several houses in the village of Geldygen were burned down. There is evidence of burning of houses in Khosi-Yurt and in several other villages.

The minions themselves deny information on the leaving of young men for the mountains and burning of houses of relatives of Mujahideen and call these messages provocation.

Meanwhile sources in Chechnya reported that a house of the parents of one of the young men who went the other day to the mountains to join the Mujahideen had been set on fire without warning in the town of Gudermes last Monday.

A 3-month-old baby was also burned alive in the house. Its mother was unable to save it from fire, because Kadyrov's minions prevented her from doing that.

3 houses burned in the village of Geldygen.

2 young men were subjected to severe tortures in the village of Kurchaloi. They were seized on suspicion of loyalty to the Mujahideen. They are severely beaten and tortured regularly with electric current.

The sources report that the Kadyrvites set a condition. If the young men agreed to work as informants, they would have been released. However, they had to denounced each week at least 2 people. The men refused.

After that, the houses of their relatives both from father's and mother's side were burned down.
