KC: Apostates And Infidels Need 'Militants' With Status

posted by eagle on July, 2009 as War in Chechnya

Apostates and infidels need 'militants' with status

Publication time: 11 July 2009, 20:36

The ringleader of apostates Kadyrov, having learnt a few days ago about capture of Makhauri Rustam, who fell into hands of the Russians infidels in unconscious state, incurred wound after mortar fire near the village of Arshty, immediately declared him a "defense minister of Ichkeria".

Despite the fact that Kadyrov's subordinate, the police ringleader Alkhanov, told reporters that Makhauri is in serious condition, Kadyrov in 4 hours after the capture of Mujahid has gave out reporters another "sensation" - the captive, turned out, is "ready to fight against the militants on the side of federal forces".

Having told journalists about a sudden change of Makhauri's ideological position, Kadyrov right there pointed that "militants do have any sort of ideology".

Despite the fact that the name of Rustam Makhauri has nowhere, never, and by nobody been mentioned as a leader of the Caucasus ...

"Our possibilities are endless..." (interview with Dokka Umarov)

In the following interview, Dokka Umarov, Emir of the Caucasus Mujahedin, spoke to Prague Watchdog by telephone.

The editors

Prague Watchdog: Some time ago there were reports that you had been wounded, and some even had you dead and buried. Were you wounded?

Dokka Umarov: No, I wasn’t. The last time was in 1995, when I received a leg wound.

PW: At the end of April the Kavkaz-Center website published a video in which you announced the decision to revive the Riyadus Salikhiyn brigade that was created by Shamil Basayev. In the video you said it had already carried out several successful attacks. That brigade also claimed responsibility for the attempted assassination of Yunus-Bek Yevkurov. Should we now expect a repetition of events like Beslan and Nord-Ost?

D. U.: If that is the will of Allah. Shamil did not have the opportunities I have ...

Prague Watchdog: Ichkeria In Talks Again (Weekly Review)

Ichkeria in talks again (weekly review)

By Vadim Borshchev, special to Prague Watchdog

Akhmed Zakayev’s contacts with Grozny are as mysterious as they are uninteresting. It is now clear that a meeting did take place in Norway between Zakayev and the chairman of the Chechen parliament, Dukhvakha Abdurakhmanov – the London exile himself does not deny the fact. He simply refuses to call what is happening “talks”, preferring the term “preliminary consultations".

Already a few weeks ago Zakayev told Radio Svoboda that the Chechen authorities had offered him talks and that these would take place in the very near future. It appears that the present “contacts” are still encountering some stumbling-blocks, and that there are problems in elevating them to the format of a proper dialogue.

Ramzan Kadyrov has already spoken out several times on the question of why he needs Zakayev. Zakayev is to help ...
