According to the source of AlKavkaz agency, in the village of Mesedoy a group of Chechen Mujahideen unders the command of Amir Usama attacked Russian kafirs killing five invaders. The source said that the mujahideen have blown up and then fired on kafirs from machine guns. Dead and injured invaders were evacuated by helicopter.

The news agency did not report any other details of special operations carried out by Chechen Mujahideen.

GROZNY, July 19 (Itar-Tass) - Two policemen were killed and three were wounded when a police outpost was shelled in Chechnya overnight to Thursday, sources from the republican interior ministry told Tass.

According to the sources, up to ten gunmen approached the outpost in the settlement of Assinovskaya (Sunzha region) on the Kavkaz federal highway and opened fire.

“One of the attackers was killed in retaliation fire. According to blood marks at the site, several more gunmen were wounded,” they added, saying that police were combing the terrain to detain the attackers.

Chechen recruits attacked convoy of occupiers near Vedeno

According to the AlKavkaz news website referring to his sources, in Vedeno district a unit of Chechen Mujahideen under the command of Amir Osama attacked a military convoy of Russian kafirs. The attack took place on July 17.

According to the website, the military operation was carried out by Chechen recruits who had just fled to the mountains and joined Mujahideen forces.

Although the enemy convoy was escorted by helicopter gunships, and the inexperience of young Chechen fighters, the commander decided to attack the enemy.

According to the website's source the battle was short. After several minutes of heavy fire on the convoy, recruits retreated deep into the forest.

The administration of the President of CRI has distributed the decree of the head of Chechen state, Dokka Umarov on appointing of the Military Amir of CRI Armed Forces and also three of his deputies.
