According to the Chechen command, last Friday in a gorge of the river Bass near to village Agishty, fighters of “Jundulla” unit attacked a convoy of occupational troops. As a result of the attack, one armored troop-carrier was destroyed, six invaders were killed and about ten more were wounded. Chechen side incurred no casualties during this attack. One more clash occurred in two kilometers from Dishni-Vedeno village. GROZNY. July 5 (Interfax) -Army servicemen were caught in gunfire in the center of Grozny on Tuesday, Interfax was told at the Chechen Interior Ministry.
"A land mine exploded in the afternoon near the memorial compound when an army UAZ vehicle was driving by," a ministry official said.
"Gunfire was then opened from nearby ruins. The vehicle was badly damaged. The servicemen were not hurt because the vehicle was driving at a high speed," the official said.

ROSTOV-ON-DON. July 5 (Interfax-South) - A man and his two sons were shot dead in the village of Tsesi, Chechnya, Monday night, a source in the village administration told Interfax.
Investigators established that a group of 10 wearing masks, carrying assault rifles and speaking Russian broke into the family house of Elmurzayev. Everyone in the house was taken at gunpoint into the courtyard where the three men were shot dead.
A police officer and a contract servicemen died on Monday during a sweep operation in the village of Bugaroi. Another police officer was severely wounded, Interfax was told at the Itum-Kale district administration on Tuesday.
