According to information of an authorised source at the Headquarters of the Military Committee of the State Committee for Defence - Majlisul Shura of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria (CRI) 7 kafirs were killed and 4 ones were injured as a result of a military operation of the Chechen fighters carried successfully nearby the Elistanzhi village on 26 May.

The source reports that the Mujahiddeens set an ambush for the Russian terrorists who conducted so-called search actions here for last several days. One Chechen fighter was wounded in the clash.

The source reported on an aviation attack on the Vedeno Region of CRI at midnight of 27 May. He did not report on victims.

According to an officer of the Headquarters of the Eastern Front of the Armed Forces of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria (CRI), as a result of an ambush set for so-called reconnaissance detachment of Russian aggressors on 26 May 6 occupants were killed. The Chechen fighters carried out the operation nearby the Agishbatoy village. The officer of the Chechen Command reported that Mujahiddeens had waylaid the invadors when the latter were moving. Chechen fighters returned to a base without any losses. Other details were not reported.

GROZNY, Chechnya – A tragic incident occurred in the Chechen capital yesterday (May 25). A policeman who dropped in at his home for a few minutes left his car unlocked, and his 5-year-old son who was playing in the yard got into it.

In the car the boy discovered his father’s authorized pistol. He began to boast in front of other children and point it at them. At some stage the weapon was fired at a 6-year-old girl from a neighbouring house. The girl died of her injuries on the spot.

An official investigation has been opened, and the policeman who left his authorized weapon unattended has been taken into custody.

An official of the Military Committee of the State Committee for Defense – Majlisul Shura of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria (CRI) informed the Kavkaz-Center Agency on new combats burst out in different regions of the country. According to information of the source 23 kafirs (Russian invaders) and munafigs (collaborationists) were killed and at least 15 enemy soldiers were injured in these clashes.

The official of the Chechen Command told the Agency that the most hard-fought hostilities were conducted in the Vedeno Region of the country wherein combats between mobile detachments of the Chechen fighters and the Russian invaders take place during several days. During the recent clashes that took place on 28-29 May the Chechen fighters killed 11 servicepersons of the enemy and injured 9 ones. 04/06/2006 11:41 June 4 (RIA Novosti) - Five police officers have been injured in separate blasts in the troubled Republic of Chechnya in Russia's North Caucasus, the local law-enforcement bodies said Sunday.

Three police officers were wounded in a roadside bomb explosion near the village of Meskety in the mountains of the Nozhai-Yurt district in southern Chechnya, the law-enforcement authorities said. The injured officers received necessary medical aid.

Another police officer and an investigator sustained wounds in two explosions near the village of Gikalo in the Grozny district of Chechnya.

Police have launched measures to find persons who could be involved in planting the roadside bombs.
