Active combat actions and sabotage operations occurred in various parts of CRI in last two days, the representative of the Chechen command reported. In Itum-Kali district, a group of Mujahideen attacked an automobile column of occupational forces. According to the Chechen side, the attack was conducted on June 20. As the result of firefight, two motor vehicles were destroyed. The exact number of the killed and wounded Russian invaders is not known, however it could say that more than 10 aggressors among whom at least four were killed, the source reports. In Vedeno district of the country, on the eve a firefight took place. The mobile squad of Mujahideen ambushed the occupational group. At a big meeting that took place high in the mountains, the field commanders agreed to establish a unified resistance structure over all of Chechnya. Chechen territory was divided into three parts. The part east of the Argun River was called the Eastern Front and the territory west of the river was called the Western Front. Northern Chechnya, the territory to the north of the Terek River, was named the Northern Front. Fierce firefight occurred in Eshelhatoy district
According to the representative of the staff of the Eastern Front of CRI Armed Forces, two days ago in area of the village Eshelhatoy located between Elistanji and Vedeno, the unit of Mujahideen from structure of Chechen-Dagestan battalion under Amir Rabbani’s command (Rapani Halilov) attacked a group of Russian invaders. During the fierce fight, Mujahideen have killed 11 invaders and many have wounded. From Mujahideen one fighter became Shaheed and four other have received wounds.
After the fight, Mujahideen withdrew to a mountain-woody zone. The Russian command had called aircraft. Bombardments proceeded more than day. Invaders also have tried to organize persecution of unit of Mujahideen by forces of gang yamadayev and occupational special troops, however these attempts have ended unsuccessfully.
