Contrary to claims that the war is over, the reality suggests otherwise. Last night in their search for an invisible enemy the Russian occupation military once again shelled the Shalinsky district village of Serzhen-Yurt, PW reported.

According to local eyewitnesses, several artillery shells flew low over the village at midnight and exploded in a nearby area of forest.

The fire came from the military base of the Shali tank regiment. "Though the villagers were alarmed by the resumption of shelling of that area, they didn't panic, as they used to do - not because the fire was directed away from the village, but because they're used to things like this by now,"  a village resident told PW.

The problem appeared to have been resolved several months ago after talks between the local puppet administration and ...

Chechen troops killed two occupiers from the pro-russian "Interior Ministry" gang on the night of 26 May in the Maskhadov (formerly Staropomyslovsky) district of the Chechen capital, Daymohk agency reported.

The mujahedeen fired a heavy barrage from a car on a post established by the aggressors, and then left the site of the attack.

"Kavkaz-Center" source reports with reference to a source in the Chechen command, that 4 Russian occupiers were killed in the Achhoi-Martan district.

On 25 May, Mujahedeen arranged an ambush for an occupation spetsnaz troop in the forest area south of Tangi-Chu village. Four aggressors were killed on the spot in the fierce fighting and several others were wounded, according to the source.

Some mujahedeen were wounded too. The precise number wasn't reported. Let us recall that Chechen troops entered the village of Urdyuhoi on 25 May and killed or wounded at least 10 occupiers and collaborators in the course of the combat operation.

Georgia's additional occupation troops, which will be sent to Iraq in June, will be deployed in the province of Wasit to patrol the city of Al Kut and border with Iran, Defense Minister Davit Kezerashvili said in an interview with RFR/RL Georgian Service.

Georgia plans to increase its presence in Iraq from current 850 to 2,000 occupation solders.

In a portion of interview, broadcasted on May 30, Kezerashvili said that the Georgian occupation troops will be in charge of patrolling city of Al Kut, about 185 kilometers in south-east of Baghdad, and entire province of Wasit.

He said that currently the province is regarded to be one of the "calmest places" in Iraq.
