Journalists do not display interest to war in Chechnya for a long time. Printed materials on military subject appeared rarely – only when for example Bush wants to make Putin ashamed or when the Islamic fighters undertake attacks on towns as it took place in Nazran, Johar or Nalchik.
In the large majority of cases the western mass media transfer only somnolent information of the Kremlin propagandist liars and try to evade in every way reminding daily clashes and losses of the Russian occupants and their puppets in places, on which the Chechen mass media inform regularly.
So singular western journalists who find themselves in Chechnya is surprised extremely at observed reality.

Spokesman of Military Council Majlisul Shura of CRI reported to Kavkaz Center news agency that recently mobile squads of Mujahideen considerably activate their actions in capital Jokhar at night time.
According to Chechen command, at night from May 21 to 22, Mujahideen attacked positions, outposts, and patrols of invaders in capital Jokhar. During these attacks 4 aggressors and local collaborators have been eliminated and 5 others injured. Earlier at night from May 20 to 21, Mujahideen have shot 2 mercenaries in Zavoskoy districts of the capital and 4 more aggressors have been wounded during attacks of their check points.
The source in Chechen command also reported that on the night of May 22, Mujahideen have attacked Russian positions of Vedeno district. No exact number of killed and wounded has been established. Night attacks on kafirs’ positions occur here regularly.
Protestors in Grozny demand removal of notorious federal police unit from Chechnya

GROZNY, Chechnya – A protest rally by local residents took place today in front of the complex of government buildings in the Chechen capital. The protestors’ basic demand was the removal of the federal police – the Operational/Search Bureau (ORB-2) – from the territory of the republic.
Around thirty people took part in the protest action. Almost all who took part were relatives of local residents who have been subjected to unsanctioned arrest or have disappeared without trace after being detained by law-enforcement officials.

Mujahideen considerably activate their attacks
Western mass-media note that even on strongly underestimated data in a few days the Chechen Mujahideen have eliminated 11 Russian soldiers and policemen and wounded many. One of Russian officials (the name is not mentioned) told the correspondent of Reuters in Jokhar that "it was a sign rebels were mobilizing for the summer".
"This is the third time this week when the rebels have attacked "police officers" and "servicemen" (in Chechnya)." munafiq Ali Yasayev, the head of pupper administration Jokhar's Oktyabrsky district, has complained to correspondent of Reuters.
"Police" said rebels had attacked a military base late on Tuesday in Vedeno region in Chechnya's mountainous south, killing four and wounding three. The attack came a week after six "soldiers" and special forces were killed by an attack on a column in the Kurchaloi region east of Jokhar.
