An officer of the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs was killed in the Gudermes district.
The body of the patrol officer with numerous marks of gunshot and shrapnel wounds was found in Nizhnii Gerzel, Gudermes district, on 26 May, a source with the republican Internal Affairs Ministry told RIA Novosti. The killed man's handgun was stolen.

11 invaders killed in Nojay-Yurt district Spokesman of staff of Eastern Front of Chechen Armed Forces reported to Kavkaz Center about fierce firefight which has occurred at dawn on May 2, in the Nojay-Yurt district of CRI. According to the source, mobile squads of Amir Akhmad (Akhmad Avdorkhanov, commander of President Gurads) and Amir Rabbani (Rappani Halilov, commander of Dagestan Mujahideen) have entered into fight with a group of invaders’ spetsnaz (special forces). During the fierce crossfire Mujahideen have killed 11 mercenaries. From Chechen side one fighter became Shaheed and four have incurred various wounds.
Invaders have called aviations, which within several hours struck on presumptive positions of Mujahideen. However, these attacks have not put any harm to Mujahideen.
