As a source of Chechenpress news agency reported, in the afternoon on 3rd of May members of Ramzan Kadyrov’s gang in number of 10 gunmen have arrived on picnic to a wood near the village of Old Sunzha. In the full swing of fun, gangsters have taken by surprise by Chechen fighters, who attacked them.

Kadyrovans in panic started to shot and tried to leave the place of party, however all of them have taken the bullets of the Chechen fighters. As a result of attack of Mujahideen, 6 gangsters were killed, the rests managed to run from wood. However all of them have been delivered in local hospital with various wounds. From the Chechen side of losses are not present.

Spokesman of the Military Council (part of State Defense Council of Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, CRI) reported to <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Kavkaz</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Center</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> about the battle in Stariye Atagi village which has taken place on the eve. According to the source, a gang formation of kafirs from so-called GRU special forces, have surrounded the house in which three Chechen Mujahideen were.<o:p></o:p>

Echoing Ramzan Kadyrov’s recent statement Chechnya’s military commandant general-lieutenant Fomenko also said “leaders of bandit formations had been de facto liquidated.” Besides, he pinpointed at “a significant decrease in financial flows” and “blocking financial channels of rebels” what does not necessarily mean Fomenko knew how much money, where from and how these “gangs” had received and still receive.

Even before Fomenko many officials “responsible” for Chechnya said “financial flows had been completely blocked.” Sometimes General Shabalkin gave concrete amounts. Surprisingly enough, all assurances of the Kremlin propagandists have been based on the following conclusion: “All the money goes to Basayev, what in fact makes him the chief in the hierarchy of rebels.”

Mujahideen attacked invaders 16 times

A battle took place in northern Chechnya
According to a source in Headquarters of the Northern Front of CRI Armed Forces, on May 18 in the district of Borozdinov settlement, which is a part of Shelkov district of CRI, a mobile group of Chechen Mujahideen attacked one of the invaders’ formations and a group of national-traitors. The source reports that according to the commander of Mujahideen group, during the battle three invaders and nationa-traitors have been killed. At least five invaders and national-traitors have inccured wounds. Mujahideen did not iccur any casulties.

The report about the battle in Shelkov district is also confirmed by independent sources. Last week military and diversive operations of fighters of the Resistance took place mainly in the central and southern regions of Ichkeria. The following regions and cities were mentioned in the war communiques of the last week: the capital of the country city-hero Johar (9 times), Nozhai-Yurt and Vedeno regions (accordingly 7 and 6 times), and also the towns Argun and Gudermes and the Shatoi, the Kurchaloi, the Shali, the Urus-Martan, and the Achhoi-Martan regions were mentioned several times. In the same reports Dagestan , where local mojaheds continued to strike blows on invaders and their local henchmen, was mentioned not less than five times.
