According to France-Press source inside the pro-Moscow puppet administration 3 Chechen munafiqs and 1 Russian kafir were eliminated in latest fighting in Chechnya over the 24-hour period of last Monday to Tuesday. One more invader was killed by a mine in Khankala, near Jokhar
A mine killed two munafiq "policemen" last Tuesday night when they were traveling by car in a suburb of Jokhar. A third "police officer" was attacked while returning home in Samashki, in western Chechnya.
Another Russain invader was injured while "defusing" an explosive device in the western region of Achkoi-Martan and five Russian invaders were also injured when their positions came under Mujahideen gunfire, AFP reports.

MOSCOW. March 18 (Interfax) - Prosecutors in Chechnya have launched a criminal case against a number of Ukrainian citizens suspected of involvement in armed fighting against Russian forces in the republic as mercenaries, the Russian Prosecutor General's Office has told Interfax.
"Following an investigation on March 15, 2006, the Chechen prosecutor's office initiated a criminal case against Dmytro Korchynsky and other individuals whose activities show signs of a criminal activity described in Part 3 of Article 359 of the Russian Criminal Code (involvement as a mercenary in an armed conflict or military activities) ," a source in the Prosecutor General's Office told Interfax.
The men, "who are members of the so-called Ukrainian National Assembly - Ukrainian People's Self-Defense (UNA-UNSO)," are suspected of having fought as mercenaries in 1996-2003, he said.

3 Russian invaders have been eliminated and 2 others wounded in Bamut village when their BTR armored vehicle hit a mine last Thursday.
1 Russian invader has been eliminated and 5 others wounded during 16 attacks of Mujahideen on Russian positions. Another kafir eliminated when he ran over a mine in Shali city.
In addition to losses of kafirs, in the evening of March 23, a munafiq "policeman" was seriously wounded when he was attacked by Mujahideen (AFP have not reported the place of attack – KC), Canadian news portal Cyberpresse writes.

GROZNY. March 25 (Interfax) - The Chechen Interior Ministry has categorically denied reports by a number of media outlets alleging that dozens of local police officers have defected to illegal armed units.
"An analysis of these reports shows that certain media outlets inspired have in fact launched a provocative ideological campaign against Chechnya's law enforcement agencies," Chechen Interior Ministry press secretary Ruslan Atsayev told Interfax on Saturday.
"Not a single instance of treachery by Chechen law enforcement officers, not a single instance of defection to illegal armed groups has been recorded in the past year," Atsayev said.
During the past week a number of media outlets have published "fictional reports claiming that over forty armed policemen defected to militant groups in the Vedeno district," he said.
