"A militant opened fire when police surrounded his house in the village of Paraboch in the Shelkovsky district, killing a police officer and wounding two others," the source said. The militant and his mother died in the ensuing shootout. Police have found a handgun, four grenade launcher rounds and a hand grenade in the house, he said. Although the active phase of the North Caucasus antiterrorist campaign officially ended in 2001, periodic bombings and clashes between gunmen and federal troops still disrupt Chechnya and nearby regions, including Dagestan, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, and Karachayevo-Circassia. As occupational sources inform, on the eve in the settlement of Shelkovskaya there was a fight. Invaders and their puppets have surrounded the house of mother of Chechen mojahed, Salambek Bushuyev, who at this time was threre, and have suggested him to surrender. In the answer the Chechen mojahed has opened fire to invaders and their henchmen.
Occupational sources approve, that during the fierce fight from their side only 1 has been killed and 2 gangsters were wounded.
During this fight Salambek Bushuyev and his mother became Shahids (Insha'Allah).
It is not clear yet, whether mother of the mojahed participated in the fight or invaders and puppets have killed her intentionally, not having let out her from the house.
